Lebanon have long been aware of the need to protect the natural resources. The Earth’s climate is changing. Temperatures are rising, snow and rainfall patterns are shifting. Weather patterns are changing, sea levels are rising, and weather events are becoming extremely dangerous.
Most of the observed changes are linked to the rising levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, that are caused by human activities.
Climate change is affecting our lives on every continent. It is disrupting our national economies and affecting our societies. Serious actions have been made by most governments around the world, they spent considerable time and effort in recent years to develop plans to chart a safer and more sustainable future for their citizens. Taking these on board now as part of recovery planning can help the world build back better from the current crisis.
Shifting to Lebanon, Whether as Lebanese or foreign as we are, such issues are probably not intended to be heard by the authorities, there are more important things in priority than climate issues.
Actually, this project is mainly not considered as dangerous indication compared with what Lebanon is particularly passing through. Anyways, there are MUCH MORE easy different ways to kill lebanese people other than the fact of the world pollution and the VIP climate aspects.
With respect to environment and climate control, lebanese politicians would only take advantages over actions if the issue required money in return to their own personal beneficial levels.
If we could summarize what to expect from Lebanese government in aiding the environmental life or the way to make a health care reform and how could they protect climate criminals. It’s clearly with out any hesitant.. Expect nothing.
What cost less gives more value to their beneficial levels. But you have to take in consideration the benefits of such tools that might allow political parties get involved in the world climate care, only if this program will allow them steal more money from the public sectors and citizens.
As countries move toward rebuilding their economies after COVID-19, recovering from the pandemic by creating new plans suitable to the 21st century economy in ways that are clean, green, healthy, safe and more resilient.
Lebanon is far away from the current crisis, since there’s no way for available opportunities, systematic profound, or organized shift in order to breathe again. Moreover, there is no sustainable economy that can be used to treat the Lebanese societies or even at least to work for both people and the planet.
