Sincerely with Love

Dearest Love,

She called herself an angel, and wandered the world from girlhood till death. She lived every kind of life and dreamt every kind of dream.
She was wild in her wandering, a drop of free water.
It took her years to learn how to exist.
Took her years to heal from the darkness she had seen as a kid.
It took her a while to forget the abused girl and times that she had been punched and hit.

Take good care of her. Rest her head on your
shores as you clean her wounds.
Bandage her skin and make her bruises stop turning into colours of purple and blue.
Cradle her like a child in it's mother's womb.
Kiss her misery goodbye.
Kiss her as the entire ocean watches in awe seeing her finally settling down.
Seeing her stand up on her feet , seeing her fighting hard to breathe.

Sincerely with love,
Her unconscious mind

Joe Biden hails Gaza cease-fire as a genuine opportunity to make progress

Israeli and Palestinian militants have agreed to a ceasefire ending an 11-day conflict which has cost more than 230 lives in Gaza and 12 in Israel, after days of international pressure to stop the bloodshed. The ceasefire came into effect at 2am local time on Friday, after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced late on Thursday that the cabinet had unanimously approved the “mutual and unconditional” ceasefire proposed by Egypt which had been mediating talks.Hamas and Islamic Jihad also confirmed the “mutual and simultaneous” agreement.

The pause in violence came a day after the US president, Joe Biden, who had largely avoided putting public pressure on Washington’s ally, told Netanyahu that he expected “a significant de-escalation” to take the situation towards a ceasefire.Biden welcomed news of the agreement, in his first substantial remarks on the crisis after 11 days of bloodshed. He described it as a “genuine opportunity to make progress” towards Middle East peace and thanked Egyptian president, Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, for his role.“I believe the Palestinians and Israelis equally deserve to live safely and securely, and enjoy equal measures of freedom, prosperity, and democracy.

My administration will continue our quiet, relentless diplomacy towards that end,” Biden said, in a brief televised statement. He did not take questions.
