Justifiable murder and legalizing bloodshed are dangerous ways to include religious perspectives under the umbrella of protectionism defense.

However, in practice, by legalizing the killing of another human being under certain circumstances, the existence of the death penalty made murder more justifiable in the eyes of the potential criminal.

They are peaceful citizens who want nothing more than to live in peace and harmony with their neighbors.
